I took weekly bass lessons with Alex for just under 4 months and saw myself improve a lot in a relatively short time! I came to bass after playing guitar for about 10 years, and as Alex also came to bass from guitar he understood exactly what techniques I would need to work on and what habits from guitar I should avoid carrying over.Alex has a good sense of humour and we covered a variety of styles and genres, from pop and jazz to funk and metal, so I always enjoyed our lessons! When we covered music theory, his explanations were clear and didn’t go too fast.Alex is a great teacher and his rates are very reasonable too - definitely recommend."​
